The saddle of the type Menorquin SANT JOAN.

This saddle is and will remain a model EXCLUSIVELY distributed by the Sellerie La Garrocha.

As a rider of Doma Menorquina myself, and all those who once mounted in a true Menorquin saddle will tell you, these saddles are beautiful and incredible comfort.
BUT they are extremely heavy, the panels are very thick and the position given to the rider is very special (buttocks backwards, knees very forward, as sitting on a chair). Which requires warned riders, or a strong adaptation on the part of the rider.

Also, it was important for me since a long time to draw a new model, more adapted to the profile of the horsemen from the equestrian traditions of "northern Europe".

All with the impeccable quality and many customizations of Pedro Lopes saddles!

Thus, the model SANT JOAN takes the aesthetic codes of the Menorquin saddle, but it differs strongly from the traditional model from a technical point of view:

- lighter weight (about 9kg)

- classic rider position (vertical)

- possibility of tailor-made manufacturing for the back of your horse (even if your horse is not a menorquin horse of course!)
